Feelin' grouchy and snarly

It's my own fault for the most part. I keep forgetting to pick up my antidepressant from the pharmacy. A run-in with a pia aide didn't help (he was at fault, but I'm left feeling irritable). I will get the meds today - and then a month in bed sounds just about right.

Must be the day for it! The longer this day has gone on, the crankier I have gotten. I am not on any meds but if things keep going the way they are, we will just skip the meds and go straight to the fourth floor of the local hospital. (mental ward)

My day for that was yesterday. I was just in a foul mood all day for no particular reason. Better today.

Not in a foul mood, just having one of those dang days where every thing I touch seems to turn into a can of worms. I feel like crawling under my desk and taking a nap...but, sadly, they don't pay me the big bucks for that!

Can you ask them to mail it to you in the future? If we don't need to be near the pharmacy for other reasons they mail it to me with a bill. It saves us 60 miles of driving.

Eh, it's only 6 miles away. I just kept forgetting to pick it up. But I did finally get it last night, so in another couple of days and I should be back to what passes for normal.

When you are feeling miserable because you didn't use your medication, you may not recognize how that is affecting those around you. My DH is a different person w/o his, and one neither of us like. But I suspect he thinks only he feels that bad. He doesn't see how much anxiety this creates for me, like I'm having to walk on tiptoe and watch every word. Please stay on your meds and don't break your routine. It's bad for the body as well as the mental & emotional state. Sue

Oh, I DO! This doesn't happen very often, but when it does I get quiet and basically shut down and avoid people as much as I can. I recognize the change in how I react and police my actions.

I'm starting to feel more normal already - should be fine by Friday, thanks be!
