I am not the only "Thread Killer"????

I just read another thread, and several people indicated that they feel like a "thread killer" or "thread ender".

I have to say, I have felt like the original "thread killer" since the Lusenet days!!!!

There have been times that I started to believe that there was a conspiracy against me:

"Don't post on that thread; Clovis just did. Let's let him end the thing. There he goes again, killing what looked to be a great, thoughtful, inspiring thread, and that retard Clovis posted on it. Can you believe he has already killed 8 threads today, 7 of them in the last hour????"

It has gotten so bad at times that I considered starting a 12 Step Program called TKA, Thread Killers Anonymous.

"Hello...my name is Clovis, and I am the original thread killer on the forums at Homesteading Today......"

I'm relieved. I thought it was just me. Turns out most everybody feels that way. That is a RE-LIEF! Whew!

Just tell yourself it's because of your superior arguments and deep wisdom that makes people realize that they can't take on that kind intellectual firepower.

It's tough to break into the cliques that develop in this place...Give it 7-10 years and they'll begin to warm up to you.

Well, I have already been here 8 years. Just 2 more years to go???

Now that I am replying to my own thread, maybe I should consider it dead, killed early by the Original Thread Killer himself.

OK, I thought it was just me. Then one day while talking to my oldest son he said he was a thread killer, well, I had never heard that term before. I just thought people really didn't care what I had to say. I must say I was relieved to know that there was an "official" word for it and that I wasn't the only one.

Add some mystery to it...How about Thread Ninjas? Or, Thread Assassins? Has more flare. There are more than a few of us here...We just need to ensure that we do not resurrect a thread that another of the group has assassinated...We need our own shirts or something.

Please sign me up immediately for the TKA course. As obviously this thread will end here, will my acceptance on the course be posted on a new thread?

I never kill a posted

We are here to have fun. and maybe to learn something, I learned a couple of things in the Forum. But we have really soreheads in this forum and other forums
I populate are not like that. We have people here so sour and rude, real HOLES if you know what I mean. leave the poor people alone!, if somebody posted something stupid, let it be. That's what America is all about. I believe we have people in this forum with a very boring life. and they seat and research whatever your posted and make you feel like garbage, but they never posted anything interesting. They just want to show their superiority in "argumentation"and once again, we are here to have fun. not to put somebody down or belitering a poor guy somewhere. In the best case scenario He or she tries of pretends to be equally critical to different points of view and they love to sound analytical and Intelligent, but their comments are really geared towards belitering that person. his is not right!. And I hate it. I think some people in this forum need therapy. And they maybe are getting it "KILLING THREATS" maybe their therapy is to display their anger to a "virtual person" in the forum... Oh well

I thought it was just me. I often hesitate to post, thinking that nobody will comment on this good thread after I say something.

move over people...I am THE original thread killer. lol now logically I could say it's because I'm not online much, so by the time I respond to anything......it's old news to everyone else. or....I'm THAT dull. as for nobody responding to my posts...that's ok, often I'm sorta talking to myself anyway. LOL! (ya know...happy in my own little brain)

Do ya'll have a prize for whomever gets the last work in this thread?

I'm thinking if you say something that makes people question just why they choose to post to the thread in the first place that might work as a great thread killer...like making the suggestion that perhaps some people have too much time on their hands, and could really be doing something more productive then responding to threads about nothing?

Gee, I never took it personally...

Sometimes a thread includes all the comments that can be made and no one has something different to say.

Also, sometimes because of the time of day, etc., a perfectly good thread moves to oblivion because many more threads are added.

So I say, go ahead and post. I've never noticed your name as one that should be considered a threadkiller.
