I will be gone..emergency!!
If I do not post for awhile Do not worry.. I will be gone for a family emergency.
I had been unable to reach my Dad for a while and neither and my elderly relatives.. and his phone had been disconnected. I called the sheriff's department up there (Swain county) and they found him..
He had fallen in the tub a week ago. Dehydration, starvation, filth.
I have to go and do all sorts of stuff that I know nothing about.. power of attorney etc....
But he is alive!!!
I will try to get back in a week or so. DH will be manning the farm. He is a good fellow.
My thanks to the wonderful folks in this town who have helped me with everything.. from the bank to the car rental place.
I wish you well and send good thoughts my way.

Oh my goodness!! You be careful on your trip and I hope your dad will be ok. Thank God you called the Sheriff's and they found him. I will keep your dad & your family in my thoughts & prayers.
