Guess what I got today.........

Guess what I got today......... - Countryside Families

A lady gave her to us today. She is two weeks old and my kids are already in love with her. She doesn't have a name yet other than Baby.

She does look like a black baldie to me, too. Did her mother die?

She really is adorable -- I like her markings!

Yes her mother died and the lady that owned her has several farms and doesn't have the time for a bottle baby. We are learning as we go along.

AWWW, I want one!

Seriously, I have been trying to talk my dh into a cow for milk for years. Or at least a bottle calf to raise for beef. Closest I've gotten so far is him seriously considering getting some feeder pigs this year. Baby steps and patience. . .
