Another death in my family

My sister Pat died this morning...She had lung cancer, She was a smoker. My heart is bleeding again. After losing another sister a couple years ago and a brother a few months ago, this is so hard...I have two more older brothers and 4 more sisters all older then me. There will be more pain in the future. I hope the angels are holding them all now....

Suz, nothing to say except I'm so sorry. As we get older, and our siblings/family members get older, too, it's going to be a fact of our lives. Will keep you in our prayers. Jan in Co

Suzy, I am so very sorry to hear of the losses you've endured lately. That's more than anyone's fair share. But I do believe that God holds those we love when they pass on. It's so hard to bear the knowlege that they are no longer with us, but I like to think about how, when they are with God, they know all they secrets and mysteries of the universe, they have seen with their own eyes the face of God, and have sat at the feet of Jesus Christ. Those are things to rejoice in for those who pass on, but I also know it is hard for those of us left behind to bear. I take some solace in knowing that someday we will all be reunited in a perfect place where there is no pain, and no more separation. God bless you and your family.

Suzy. So sorry to hear of your loss. I know the words are hollow when it is said they are in a better place. Again sorrow is always felt when a loved one leaves us. Bless you and HUGSSS. Sam

Oh Suzie, I'm so sorry. Nothing is worse than losing immediate family. Yes, the older we get the more of a reality it becomes, and I guess each one is practice so it gets easier, hopefully, as we age and have to experience it more often? I don't know...I just see how hard it is on my Mom watching all her friends dying off. But she's 81, and it's to be expected. I don't know how old you or your siblings are, but it's really rough to have lost three of them so close together. You don't even have time to start to recover in-between.

Here is offering you the only thing I have to give...my caring a sympathy. I hope you had a chance to say goodbye to her.
