When your heart's not in it...

I want to apologize for not being whole-heartedly here lately. I have been checking in to read over posts, but just haven't felt like posting much. I think as time goes by I will get back into it, just be patient and don't feel bad if I don't post on your threads and prayer requests. I guess I just need a little downtime...

Hey it's fine!

I just read and don't post alot. It's been a nutty week around here so I've been taking a break from the forums.

Sometimes we just need to slow down and smell the roses.
Spring is nearly here, take a break, rest!
We will try to behave.

We all need a break sometimes. Just know how much you're appreciated by so many folks on this board, including me. I look forward to having you back in full swing when the winter blues takes a hike.

I was also thinking that maybe taking a good multivitamin and iron would help too. Sometimes you need an extra boost.

Melissa,

Believe in God and your prayers will be answered.

BTW: I nearly forgot to mention that you and Cale need to go on a getaway when he's feelin' better;-)

Take a Break!

I had to leave all discussion boards for 6 months. It was getting too much of my time and energy. Mostly the same old same old over and over ad nauseum. The break will do ya well, and when ya return, ya can start fresh.

My little Troll has even deserted me in the process, and I appreciate that as well...no, I won't say who...I'm enjoying the peace.

Hey Melissa, it's really very important for moderators to take a break away from their discussion boards from time to time, sometimes even for a couple of months or more. You have to have time for yourself, your home and your family and REAL life away from cyber-space. Consider it a mental health break. There's no law that says you have to participate in discussions just because you're the moderator - and there's plenty of people here who would let you know if there was a serious problem on the board that really needed your attention. Let somebody else do the moderating (or mediating) for awhile so you can take a breather.
