Hhhhmmm - suppose I should be going to bed really

Well, I have wrapped all the presents. Made DD's Christmas card. Written her a letter from Santa (complete with drawing a picture ) Made cinnamon roll dough for breakfast. all the veg are peeoled and ready to go. And it is half past three in the morning. D will be waking up in between 2 and 3 hours time - barely seems worth going to bed really.

I suppose I should, but I feel it is going to be hard to wake up tomorrow

I suppose time's cracking on for you guys too?

Hey Hoggie, It's only 9:30 pm here, can I send you a few hours to sleep in?

Merry Christmas - sounds as if you've fixed it up great for your little girl.

Hoggie, sounds like you've got everything done I've got the stockings filled, but it's almost 11pm and I still need to write a note to the girls from Santa, we put out cookies and carots for the reindeer
Merry Christmas

LOL Angie - a few extra hours would probably come in handy

Yes - it is Christmas day here so Merry Christmas

Think I am going to have to go and get into bed and read - DD just appeared wanting to know if Santa had been yet I never fill her stocking until just before I go to bed, just in case she catches me out

How did you manage that Rose - it took D ages to get to sleep tonight - she just couldn't keep still she was so excited

Petunia40 - thank you thank you - you reminded me - I haven't finished eating the carrot yet

It's 10:10 here and feels both like morning and night.

I have no one to wake up to other than my lovely wife, and she knows I'm slogging away on the only Christmas present I plan to give her - a story I wrote.

I've had just a wee too much wine, but I'm going to do this. The good news is it's mostly written and I just have to edit it together, sort of like stitching together a beautiful quilt.

Merry Christmas to all!

good idea!

Get to bed while the getting is good.
I finished the shopping - DH said I hadn't spent enough money so...off I went to do the job right.....I had only planned on a quick trip to pick up some milk and flour....but plans often change around hre. This meant that the house didn't get cleaned. I just got home with two college kids Sunday morning afte 29 hours of driving. DH was home alone for a week - I really need to improve on his skills in taking care of himself! We decided to have Christmas dinner today - since everyone is so fully of candy on Christmas that they don't want to eat and I am usually too tired to enjoy cooking. I did rolls, ham, beans, deviled eggs - the whole thing. It was SO GOOD! Our first meal together in over a week!

Then, I finally had the chance to read the newest County Side Mag. I ended up asleep for four hours! The kid were afraid to wake me up....Now we are going to watch the movie I promised and then off to bed. DS and his family as well as DD will arrive on the 26th with yet another DS and family arriving on th 27th. It is always good to have them under one roofeven if they can't stay long.

Where is DH? Out in his shop making my Christmas present! I love Christmas!
