The secret life of a garden....

Snow has shown me that a lot of critter traffic comes through my yard. I guess I'm not too surprised since we live surrounded by farms and swamps. Sometimes I find herons, ducks or even snapping turtles in my yard I just did not realize HOW much my yard was a highway for critters. This morning (after fresh snow had fallen) I found so many rabbit tracks it's rediculous. Also fox, coon, and something else I can't quite identify. One rabbit even got nixed by something (an airborn something I think) last night.

Snow gives away the secrets and I've learned that I need to put wire around my blueberry bushes!!! Somwe brave rabbits even hop right trhough my patio!
