We don't have television, but if I did, I'd want A&E, the History Channel, National Geographic, Discovery, and BBC.

I like documentaries and British shows

It'll be hard to just name my top 5 favorite channels. (I watch way too much tv.) But I'll give it a try.

1. Sci-Fi
2. USA
3. The History Channel
4. NGC
5. Fox News Channel

Well, I stop here at 5 because you asked for 5 but I would need at least another 5 to really get at my favorite channels.

HEHE! I was going to say the same thing! We only get two stations! Now about once a year, if the moon is just right, and you hold the antenna with you tongue sticking out you MIGHT get the third one to come in!

We had to drop down to basic, basic cable for the $10.00 per month. But if I could choose some it would be:

NBC (We love the Office and some others on there)
TBN - I'm not much for PTL but they play some really good movies on there.
TVLand
Turner Classic Movies
Fox News Channel

What I had said was IF you only had 5 to choose from. Not that you had to choose 5. I listed the 5 I watch the most. But I do watch others too. Like T C M and the B B C and A few others. I really miss the B B C channels show Of the Military Officer in the 1800's I forget his name But it was A very decent series. Any one else know the Name I Am thinking of???

I'd have to have

CBS
NBC
Sci-Fi
USA
FoodNetwork

What you can't get on the tube, you can watch on the internet now, though, usually. Or, just wait 6 months and rent the series on dvd.
