I'm Almost Bald Now!!! WAnta Scream!!!!

There are some days you feel like the windshield, and other days like the bug.
Well, this week I felt like both!!

We lost our internet on tuesday night. Called. Said it was the modem.
DH and I drive over to Comcast office to switch out modems. They say its not the modem, but we are on soft disconnect. Since DH was out of work for summer we got behind. No problem. They give us a new modem anyway, and we tell em' we'll be back on friday to pay some cash on the bill since DH will get a paycheck. This morning comes DH goes to bank, and heads back over to Comcast and pays bill. But still no internet. I kept calling them to find out why, and they said their computers were down and couldn't post payments until it came back up.
Well, at 6 pm tonight we STILL had no internet access. So I call Comcast again and they tell me modem is fine, but its our Norton Anti Virus that is not allowing us access. I call Norton and they have us uninstall it, but it still doing the same thing. And by the way, we can recieve and send email, just can't browse.
Finally after hours of calling, and nearly pulling all the hairs out of my head, and eating my pizza which now went cold, I call back. FINALLY! We get someone who sounds as if they know what they are talking about.
She has us go in and delete all the cookies, and BINGO! We are back on!

Go figure!! I thought these things only happened on mondays?!

Hope things are better now!

Welcome to the helpful world of customer service. Luckily you did not get someone halfway around the world with a thick accent trying to help you get back on line!!!!!
