2 kind of goofy prayer requests

Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare.

At 8:00 I have to take my 13 month old into the pediatric orthopod (orthopede?) - whatever. She is extremely pigeon toed, flat footed, and bowlegged and her Dr. thinks she might need leg braces or special shoes.

At 10:00 I have to take the 2 year old to the ENT for extensive hearing tests and a hearing aid trial run. He hates things being stuck in his ears!

As soon as we leave there we are headed directly to the State Fair, 50 miles away in 92 degree heat.

I know none of this is major, but if you could help me out in wishing us a good day it might help! Thanks.

You guys do good work!

The ENT called and rescheduled.

The Ortho guy said that ten years ago they would have given her leg braces, but they have since found out that 95% of children outgrow it, and the other 5% is not helped by early intervention as long as they aren't tiptoers. He said to keep her barefoot, and if she has to have shoes either get them specially made (at $500 a pair - no thanks!) or wear open toed sandals with heavy socks so that her toes are not constricted because she has hammer toes.
And, since we are cash customers, he only charged me $150 instead of $300! WooHoo!

Now we are off to the state fair, where we will make ourselves sick on ooey gooey fair food, get all hot and sweaty, and oogle all the animals and tractors. Life is good.
