I'm just west of I-69 off of exit 34...the exit with the big flea market on one side and the former outlet mall on the other.

I'm a bit south of there but if you're going to Riley, it sounds like you might need a friendly face. Here's my cell 812-390-9434. Call if there's anything you need, or want. I'd be more than happy to be there for ya.

We live off the 469 loop outside Ft Wayne. Had to make many, many trips to Riley ourselves when DS was a kid, he was born with a heart defect. Hope things go well with your DGD.

I can hear 69 from my house. Live near Angola. Only good thing I can say about hearing the traffic is that I know when the driving is bad in the winter. No noise.

I live about 12 miles or so from I69, between Roanoke and Huntington. If you ever need anything, give me a call at 260 344-3118 and I'll see what I can do to help.

We don't live near there but we have a DD going to Butler Univ. in Indy, so, we travel from Ohio to Indy a lot also. She plays ball so she doesn't even come home for the summer. We will be praying for your family and all their trips to the hosp.

Joanie, does your DD play softball for Butler? I work with a woman who's DD goes to Butler and plays on their softball team. Small world!

No Sherri, she has never played softball. She plays basketball. You can see her picture if they ever post this years roster and schedule. If your friends daughter stayed on campus this summer for practices, there is a good chance they know each other. There aren't many girls that stay - I know basketball and volleyball are there, not sure about softball.

Both our daughters (dd23 and dd10) spent time at Riely for serious, but not life altering health reasons. Riely is one blessing of a place! I hope your daughter gets the full care and concern she needs from everyone there and that she progresses as hoped and prayed for. She will be in my thoughts.

If you ever get the chance (I know it will be busy and stressful), but check out some of down town Indy's museums and zoos.

Best Wishes, babysteps
