She was next to the teller that was held up. She was pretty shaken up when she called. Said she'd just been on lunch break and was in the breakroom watching the Virginia Tech coverage and crying. Then she goes back to work and this happened. I am so, so grateful nothing happened. She said the guy's eyes were really bloodshot and he was acting really strange, which made her think he was high on something.

I'm surprised to hear that not only is God in need of money, He also encounters the same traffic problems as the rest of us. I'm glad your daughter's okay.

Glad she's OK. I actually walked in on a bank robbery a few years ago, and when I was in high school working at Safeway, we were robbed and put into the egg cooler
Not fun.

Apparently evangelical tv shows are not receiving enough revenue these days, that is if God himself chose to rob a bank.

I worked in a bank during college and my husband is a banker today... This is every bank employees nightmare. I am glad that your daughter wasn't harmed. I can only imagine how difficult it will be to want to return to work.

give her a hug for me!

"Just moments before the actual robbery, an officer said he spotted the suspect stop his vehicle along the Beach Street exit ramp, hop out and "walk into the road while waving his arms as if he was attempting to move the congested motorists along from behind his truck." After spotting the scene, the Fort Worth officer approached the man who said, "I am God, don't you know me?" It was after he was ushered back to his car that police said the suspect then drove the short distance to the Frost Bank"

OK, maybe it is just me, but why did the police officer just let the man go after talking to him BEFORE the robbery? It would seem obvious to me from the mans response to the officer, that he was either disturbed or under the influence of something. I would really have a problem releasing someone like that and allowing them behind the wheel of a vehicle. This is not a prejudice against those with mental health issues, this is just a common sense and road safety thing.

I am sorry your daughter went through this today. I hope she is OK.

I'm glad all the bank employees are ok. That is one situation I would not like to be in.
