How long for Refund , When filing Electronically ??

..................I use Tax Act and filed my return electronically on the 16th . So , they said to expect my refund to be deposited into my bank account on the 31st . Was wondering how long it has taken others to receive their refund , was it longer or shorter than the time interval you were told ? thanks , fordy...

My return was filed electronicallyand it was about 14 days till the refund came.direct deposit to my account

I used Turbo Tax, the state came earlier than said, the fed exactly on the date said.

......................Thanks guys ! Actually , 14 days would be on the money for me as they prognosticated it too arrive on the 30 or 31st . So , I've written the checks I'll wait and mail them until the 30th . The irony is that the refund turned out to be just enough for one months bills , LOL . fordy...

here the banks do the tax return direct deposits on Friday so we were given a 6-10 day timeframe and it is the Friday that lands within those days....we actually got our state on the Wed before the Federal

I did mine with Turbo tax at the beginning of Feb. and it said 10-16 days, this year it took 16. Did my son's the 8th of March and it said it would be 9-14 and he got his in 9! Never takes too long though.

We also did ours with TaxAct and waited 14 days and it was there on the dot after midnight.

the IRS deposits on Fridays. It took ours 8 days but we filed really early

I only do TAXACT, i get it in 7-10 days, The IRS only makes deposits on Mondays or Fridays

I think I filed mine on a Wednesday and it came in 10 days on the following Friday. Unfortunately it was all spent in two days.
