Cougar cubs

Three cougar cubs were recently found hiding in a dog house about 10 miles north-east of here. When the animals were found Fish & Wildlife officers set up an observation to determine if the mother would return. She did not. Instead of letting the cubs starve, the decision was made to take them to the Ranger Station. They are all in good health and are eating deer meat and a milk supplement.
Efforts are underway to find a zoo where the animals can be raised.

They are so cute! For their size, they have the biggest paws I have ever see. They are, however, just as ferocious as an adult cougar.(minature version)

I heard about this. I thought that the Calgary Zoo had agreed to take them?

I sure hope so. Are these the same cougars? This just happened in the past week or so.

I read about it in the Herald -- yesterday or the day before, can't remember. I'm pretty sure that Calgary Zoo has agreed to take them.
