Took the kids fishing today and did rather well
We fished the pond on mom and dad's 15 acres that they bought next to us. It hadn't been fished for several years and we got 11, 1-1/2 lb cats out of it. Probably 4x's that many got away, but that's to be expected when taking little one's fishing  . The kids had a blast and we were enjoying far above normal temps for the day. Back to highs in the 40's again tomorrow, but that's ok, we felt spring for a minute or two. We have to get the fish thinned out in there cause they have stunted, so we will have many many fishing adventures this summer I'm sure. I'm sitting here listening to the peepers outside, it's a good day.
