Female only post- Senior Moment!

I know all you guys are going to peek, but with the warning you can't laugh too much!!Or maybe you can :baby04: add in your own "male" senior moment!
Ladies- did you ever feel...."not so fresh..."

I didn't feel fresh. In fact, I was wondering about bacterial infection. On the way home from St Petersburg Saturday night, we stopped at walmart (Arcadia) and bought bactericidal....freshener.
It's been cold, really really cold in Florida.
Anybody see where this is going?
It takes about 45 minutes to get to the lake cabin from Arcadia. WE ate dinner, and I took a nice hot shower prior to going to bed. Really sleepy.
Then I remembered the freshener...which had apparently reached thermal equilibrium with the ambient temperature...
I know I KNOW that warm stuff loses heat in the cold!!But I didn't remember it at that exact moment!
And I "freshened"
It took a LONG time to recover and get to sleep Saturday night!!!
Hey, in this life, you either laugh or you cry. I'de rather laugh.

Now....I am going to attempt to say this without offending anyone and so as not to get a mark against my name for being a naughty girl.

If this freshener was of liquid form and....ahh...ummm, inserted where you wanted to be fresh, AND it was cold, watch for an infection.

Many years ago, my silly girlfriend used a Summers Eve product that she had in a suitcase in her car and it was very cold and she got one.

She said it was far, far beyond what she had anticipated. Oy vey!

No way am I going to discuss this kind of stuff on a mix sex/young children forum.
I think with all the personal body stuff that has been posted lately, the Mod's need to give the Ladies their own place.

I mean we have everything going from "feeling not so fresh", miscarriages, menopause to birth control.
I can't be the only woman on this Forum that feels this way.

Bodily functions and problems are a part of life. I'd rather be able to ask or answer those personal questions than think some poor woman(or man) is having medical/personal questions or problems and not asking for fear of 'offending the sensitive'.

As to the 'freshener', just put the dispensing unit in a 24 oz size cottage cheese type carton of very warm water-warms everything up nice & quick.

If I did what you did, I'd still be awake!

I see nothing at all wrong with the topics posted here. If you don't want to discuss something then don't. If you don't want to read it then scroll on by. :baby04:

LOL @ Ardie. I am thinking that was an eye opening experience.

Once, many years ago, when I was sorta irate with my sister and her choice of boyfriend, she called and inquired as to what was best for the 'not so fresh' feeling. I suggested baking soda and vinegar. OK, I didn't know she was going to be dumb enough to actually try it!

Also whoever keeps asking Veme to discuss stuff about her body parts should stop , too.
I dont see anything wrong with it, everyone has been tasteful about how they word things.

Well, once I cooled down (warmed up??) I began to see the humor in it.
This is a FAMILY board, meaning adults and mixed ages /sexes.
Young men have mothers and girlfriends.
If I can save just one person from repeating my experience...
Was kinda hoping the guys might contribute their own "senior moments"!!

Part of our problems as women were that we didnt discuss feminine things. Shhhhh! Dont mention that! I for one am glad we can speak up now and get information and realize we are not alone in things.
I have heard though that unless theres an infection of some sort, soap and water are your best bets. That our bodies have a self cleaning funtion on the inside and the soap and water on the outside are all that should be needed. Since menopause and the cessation of menses, I dont seem to have any problems with feeling fresh. Just one of the many perks of getting more mature....

Okay
You all are right.
I guess I'm just old fashioned and not modern.
I really do find it surprising women will talk about this sort of thing in a public venue.

You haven't lived until you've treated your hemorroids with methiolate. The screaming alone will give you a sore throat.
