http://dcxposed.com/2013/01/27/Seatt....piQdcqH4.dpbs A slightly different take on the seattle gun buy back incident. I always wondered why some one didn't set up and offer people a fair price for some of these guns at these events. Cops are paying chup change.

"The scalpers who were buying guns were being watched by the police."

Many police probably watched the Superbowl yesterday. If the "scalpers" were doing something illegal, it seems the police would have done something about them.

"The police confiscated one controlled military weapon (a missile launcher)"

I laugh every time they show one of those "missile launchers" on the news. Those things really get the gun-grabbers wound up. Too bad they don't know enough about those "missile launchers" to know that without a missile they are nothing but a fiberglass or metal pipe.

Scalpers???? Seriously? Obviously someone doesn't know how to use their dictionary.
1. To cut or tear the scalp from.
2. To deprive of top growth or a top layer: land scalped by strip miners.
3. To resell at a price higher than the established value: scalping tickets to the baseball game.
4. To buy and sell (securities or commodities) in order to make small quick profits.
v.intr.1. To engage in the reselling of something, such as tickets, at a price higher than the established value.
2. To buy and sell securities or commodities for small quick profits.

No. Your wish is not my command. You are a funny demanding person. Did your last google mommy go on strike?

If you don't believe there are public street sales permit laws in your own country and you want proof of it then it is your responsibility to do the research to prove or disprove it, not mine.

Be my guest to show otherwise and for God's sake whatever you do don't take the word of a foreigner for it. Learn your own laws for yourself, the safety and continuance of your lifestyle that you love and demand so much might depend on it some day.

My, aren't you touchy. Sorry that "please" was too "demanding" for you. I'll try to keep your sensitive nature in mind next time.

Uhh, sugar, YOU made the claim. So the burden of proof falls upon YOU to back it up with facts. If you can't do that, then be careful what assertions you throw around.

Oh, I never just take anyone's word for it, foreign or not, which is why I asked for you to cite the law. But I'm not going to do your homework for you. You made a specific claim, and if you can't prove it, then it speaks to your credibility, or lack thereof, not my research skills.

You want proof that the street fest buying/selling was legal? Well none of the participants was arrested.

Also guaranteed in the first amendment to the US constitution is the right to peaceably assemble.

You do realize that's a PERFECTLY LEGAL empy plastic tube?

You were already told there was nothing illegal going on, and you still insist there was.

I'd suggest it's YOU who needs to learn the laws

So if people are sellling their guns(or trading) to people other than the police then it comes down to WHAT they get not about making the streets safer. If it was all about safety they would just give the guns to the cops or destroy it and hand it over.

I would trade some food or buy a gun too.Sure beats paying the inflated cost at the stores right now.

According to the article some people did hand their guns over to police with no compensation.

Someone also never read all or any part of the constitution of The United States of America.

Especially the parts that guarantee the right to peacefully assemble and the freedom of speech part which might just include signs, and even sign language. There are a lot of other parts that apply too, but if nobody ever read those parts then they would be Ignorant of the facts (at least)

Laws don't make anything "safer"
This is about disarmament, and nothing more

Concur, BFF...

Gun control is not about guns, it's about control!

***********
A speaker at the 2A rally I attended yesterday said... (paraphrasing) these guys that go in and shoot up schools and movie theaters probably break about 10 laws to do that.... so what makes some people think, "Here's law #11... THAT will stop them!"

I thought it put the idiocy into a perspective that anyone should be able to understand.
