When it comes to giving away OTHER people's rights, many people are "reasonable".

I qualified expert, and the unit wanted EVERYONE to qualify as expert. So after I qualified, they put me in the next lane over from people who didn't make it the first time around. My job was to shoot the targets that they missed so they made expert. Sound Familiar
So all you know is you fired a few rounds.
Maybe someone else shot YOUR targets too.

It hardly makes you a "gun expert" to spend a few hours on a military range, no matter what title they may bestow

Well, I don't know a whole lot about Rakkasan except that he's been kind and generous to my son.

I'll vouch for him solely on that.

At least 'thank him' for his honesty. It's far more than the politicians who

are enacting those laws that will strip your rights away, are willing to do.

You're right, of course.

Thank you, Rakkasan, for your honesty.

There's a name for them, too. They are called "domestic enemies of the Constitution".

When I think of pistols, I think back to the Model M1911. That is the pistol that first brought us out of the stone age, and into the modern world.

The 9mm brought us into the 21st century. High capacity clips became an obsession for all non-revolvers. So we widened the grips, and kept jamming more rounds into clips to keep up with demand. But it was a superficial demand.

We wanted more rounds because we thought that more rounds meant more hits on target.

To anyone who actually practices shooting, this isn't the case. To anyone who has been in an actual firefight, this is even more ludicrous.

If push came to shove, I'll take on anyone with my Python... Because It wouldn't take me more than 3 rounds to kill you, and I hope that would be the same way coming back. Skill and luck, but not more than 3 rounds.

So when we talk about "High Capacity Clips", just about any number they through out there is crap. To be frank, this is a negotiation. They know that 7 is a stupid number for a pistol. They want to compromise to 10 in the clip, and one in the pipe.

Me, I can live with that. If it makes them feel better.
So. What exactly is a "Social Democrat"?
