I miss Glenn Beck being on Fox. We used to have many a good laugh during dinner for the year or so we watched him. He is a peach. Maybe he should go back and revive the "Morning Zoo", he would probably be happier.

While it certainly "can" be done, it most certainly "won't" be done...there's no money in it.

Hippygirl, sad, but true.

IF you are a Constitutional Conservative (I.e. believe that the Constitution is valid as written and amended) then Glenn Beck is surely someone you can follow and understand. If it weren't for him and his leadership of the Tea Party we would never have gotten control of the at least the House of Representatives and have been able to beat back Socialism (and worse) to the extent we have so far. If you can do a better job than by all means take the lead and do something - don't sit on your backside and WISH someone else would. To do the leading and the educating TAKES MONEY. Glenn has been able to take whatever money he can cobble together and at least become the predominant Conservative Voice existing today. Name one other voice other than maybe Rush Limbaugh and Hannity that have done so much with so little. I for one will continue working in whatever manner I can to spread Conservatism as far as possible. I have taken up Ham Radio so I can try to use that to speak to others about Conservatism too. I will do what I can as long as I can.

Mind you - I am very Libertarian about things like abortion, drugs, etc. I feel that people should be allowed to screw up their lives as much as they please and that they only have to answer to GOD for doing so. As for Conservatism I am fiscally Conservative and don't believe that we have the right to condemn future generations to doom by violating the laws of math - i.e. the laws of math as it pertains to interest owed on money borrowed - the math says that soon we will owe more than we can repay. Then the borrowing ceases and CRASH occurs. All this past election has done is temporarily postpone the inevitable, however at least 51% of the country's electorate is too ignorant to realize it.

I read the entire article, and then got to the end, where he is asking (or is that begging) for more subscriptions...get a friend or three, gift them a subscription, just send in tha' money.......
It's a BUSINESS.
You have to expect some advertising

BO watched people being killed in Benghazi, refused to send help, and then jetted off to Vegas to beg for money

Glenn Beck is nothing more than an entertainer that knows what buttons to push to get people talking. He has no insight into anything other than making money for himself.

Dude's website header reads "The Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment". Sez it all. TMZ for politico-buffs.

I'm also not real impressed he "entertainingly" presents right wing revisionist history(avoiding being more "specific" but I think that specificity has been made clear) as the Gawd-honest truth.

So what has he said that's NOT the truth?

.
The only thing funnier would be if a president asked for people's wedding gifts to be donated to his cause...oh wait, that's been done.

True, that would be hilarious....and it seems that it was effective.

Perhaps Beck is hoping that by following Obama's pleas for money that he will be as effective in his quest as well.
