What are you doing this AM?

Went to an estate auction. Hadn't been to one in years but this one had 64 guns and 2 guns safes. Figured with it raining, not many people would show up. Wrong. Huge turnout. I left bids on 2 guns and the 2 gun safes with the auctioneer friend of mine and came home with wet feet.

Today is my wife's birthday and our 28th wedding anniversary.

I made her coffee and breakfast in bed, and we are considering going to a restaurant on Puget Sound for seafood dinner tonight. However, we are not a fan of the long drive and having to go into a city so we'll see how today goes. Tomorrow I install a fancy new stereo in her car. Our son is home for a couple of days and it's nice to have him around.

It is 28 degrees here today. The new heater in the bird bath has it partially de-iced but no birds are using it yet. It will take them awhile to get used to seeing the heater in there I guess. I figured this would happen so I left the pump/waterfall running on the small pond so the birds have some water if needed. Two of the three hummingbird feeders have heat lamps on them and there are plenty of customers today.

I have a roku streaming player here that I need to try and hook-up. Supposed to get amazon streaming, netflix, hulu, gbtv, pandora, and a few others.

Ah, nascar. One of the few things I miss about cable. Should be close to the last race of the season?

Went yesterday-we had a short service and then my friend Judy put on SgtMajors attitude and 12 of us cooked/made/cleaned up-191 meals to distribute through community

Hmmm...coffee and computer, then watched the sun come up. Bloody Marys with a late breakfast of moose sausage, eggs and hash browns. Oh, and watched the Vikings not totally embarrass themselves for a change. Like what I see in Chris Ponder.
