My wife was born in Detroit so i know first hand this is true

There's many Latinos who are legal citizens as well as Koreans and many other nationalities or races. After all, America is the melting pot. I read the post you are referring to and I took it the same way as Teimpo did. There are still people around that jump to conclusions without getting all the facts. If someone looks hispanic, there's many who will automatically assume the worse. Racism is still alive and well, unfortunately.

I never assume my DL mother is a citizen was born in Okinawa and will take time to tell you how proud she is of her citizenship here

Funny DL is miss took for Mexican all the time

She thinks it is a hoot .Her family has done good her dad was born here .Don't think they will hurt the welfare roll either her dad put their house on the market because mom didn't like it
