We don't have a green generation. You hear much talk of "being green", yet nobody bothers. We are a wasteful generation. What you attempted to show was that the modern generation trying to be green was failing miserably, you are right. But, you are wrong when you attempt to point that the green movement is wasteful.

No it is not wasteful but the green movement sure will not stop the oil dependency either. And should not be considered the savor from oil. It Won't.
We have too many products that are depending on oil besides gasoline.
From plastics to lubricating oils. Way too much depends on crude oil then people seem to think.
And windmills, and solar and all the other green projects just are not going to be enough and in plentiful to get the USA off oil.
They can help but in no way should this green movement be the only thing that is taking place. We need to Drill Oil from any and all places in this country we can.
