Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.........I'm with 7thswan on this one......
Cry me a river and then stay on the OTHER side of it!!!:sob:

Wow, a taste of their own Medicine. What do they think the Illegals have caused here in the US?
|
This is how crazy this whole issue is. They don't want them, yet they expect us to take care of their citizens????
|
OMG! What should we do??
Build low-income housing for them, for a start...near the Rio Grande, so it would be handier. Also form several bureaucracies to handle various social programs for them. Education; food stamps; transportation issues they may have... |

I don't feel one tinsy, tinesy bit of sympathy for those complaining of their nationals getting back home and straining their systems. |
I find that hilarious. Way to go Arizona!
Texas, New Mexico, California---time to step up to the plate too. |
Quite honestly, I would have laughed until I tinkled on myself had I been at that meeting. Then I would have handed out popcorn and a giant cup of soda and settled in for the Tear Jerker.
Then when I was sooooo full of soda I was totally thinking I would miss the end of the pity party and one of the Sonoran delegation was so mad they were catching on fire....I would have relieved myself SOMEWHERE ELSE and let him burn. I despise illegals and their apologists. |
I'm moving to Sonora in January. Won't be living off the government, though.

The simple solution for the state of Sonora is to build a wall between the two countries. Heck they even have people to that need jobs and could do the work. Personally I'd donate some funds for cement and sand.
|
Mexico needs to fix Mexico so their people don't feel the need to sneak into other countries.
They are good example of what happens to a country with a small middle class. Americans should pay attention before it's too late. |
Internet is fast in some places - there are a lot of Americans living in Sonora.

I know on the RV Forums I also go on there are quite a few that traveled to Mexico for the winter and used there Satellite Dishes to update there Blogs or just get on line , but a lot of them Are Not going down this year do to the turmoil in the Country . Especially the ones that just run over for dental work . Bob |
Sonora is pretty safe - safer than Phoenix. South of there things get worse.
For the most part, if you aren't participating in the drug trade, you can travel Mexico without much risk. Heck, I walked around Juarez for several days last year without any problems. |

I see you live in NE Texas, some of it is overrun with illegals, getting all those benefits - as well as jobs. We have been living away for some years, back up here from time to time. We are moving back now, and it is scary. |
Why dont we sell those surplus FEMA trailers to Mexico :D
