Hey, someone gets it!

Think about it. The Republicans are quietly planning to raise taxes on the lowest 90 percent of wage earners in order to cut taxes for the wealthiest 10 percent.

But they need votes from that 90 percent! How are they going to get those moderate-income folks to vote for them? It doesn't make sense for them to vote against their best interests, does it?

But they will if the Republicans can make them hate (Mexicans) and fear (Muslims) some other groups of people, then promise to "do something" about those groups.

That's why I said the immigration issue is a red herring. A lot of angst is being ginned up right now, and it's for a reason. You can expect things to quiet down after November, when the issue will have served its purpose.

And a lot of people will have been suckered.

Why can't the zillions of illegals pouring across our southern border get together & CHANGE Mexico? If we can send our troops all over the WORLD to "help" the oppressed countries of the world, why can't we seem to help our nearest neighbors??? Does that make any sense?? Of course not. If we were to actually HELP Mexico to become independent,prosperous, & free of the drug cartel rule, the RICH in the US would LOSE their SLAVE LABOR, and lose MONEY!!! We can't have THAT, now can we??

Personally, I can see no other reason that we HAVEN'T helped Mexico to rid themselves of the corruption, other than the fact that the US is making $$$$ off of the illegals, the drug cartels.etc. And all to a HUGE cost to the US economy. I sincerely hope that people in the US WAKE UP soon, & realize that we are all being taken for fools. The Powers That Be are constantly working to pit us against each other, so that while we are squabbling amongst ourselves, they are laughing all the way to the Bank.

If the zillions (of just plain regular people) could do anything,,, the sourthern border would be closed. WE vote them in then out; then in then out. The border remains a sieve. How can one expect regular people to the south change something, when we to the north can't change what is so needed?
