I don't know why but that saying has always made me feel better.

I'm headed to Vegas in a few days.

Prepping is important, but so is living.

No things are not Ok, and i am afraid they are not going to get better either.
So the best thing you can do is get ready for it. What ever it is.
Then get on with life. If you don't have a garden make plans for one. learn some skills and find a part time job. keep busy.

I TOTALLY agree.

Current Events can be a good event also!. At least once in awhile.

Scott, I go thru what you are feeling. Find something New to you, a craft, hobby, somewhere to put your mind for awhile. It gets depressing for many ,when they have a need to understand and Fix things. You need an "Achievement" to boost your spirts.

7thswan I think your right on needing an achievement once in a while to counter act the bad news. Each time I make any progress it seem to help me to continue, whether it is a skill, information, or material preps.

Your biggest fear should be that some world-changing disaster doesn't happen in time and you have to decide whether to throw away or consume all of those soon-to-be-rotten canned goods. Spaghetti-Os aren't all that yummy even when they're fresh.

Because no one really likes spaghetti-o's. It's that weird tasting sauce. Toddlers like them, but anyone much past the age of 6 or so doesn't.

You should always read Zero Hedge tongue in cheek, that site is a cult site set up entirely for conspiracy theorists with a pessimistic attitude who live for more pessimistic news to be miserable about. Misery and spreading misery - that's what rocks their boats.

I don't think there has ever been any time in the history of mankind that there's been a ray of sunshine in economic news. As far as the economy is concerned nobody recognizes the rays of sunshine when they appear. Nobody is ever happy with the economy, not even when it's good, everyone always wants more.

Everything will be okay. Stop reading Zero Hedge. Stop worrying and get a life that's apart from all the ongoing bad news out there.
