I was just talking about trying to make bluegrass connections in the pnw with a group of homeschoolers yesterday. Where are they? =0) I am glad to at least know the names of the bluegrass festivals. I'm from TN, and have missed that. I have a kid trying to learn the mandolin. We have mostly done classical and celtic, but we want to do some bluegrass too in honor of our southern roots. =0)

Hi SkagitBrooms,
I have only recently joined HT (was previously just an HT lurker for a few years).

I really enjoyed your family's music.
Thanks so much for sharing it!

I live in central North Carolina, and I try to go to as many bluegrass festivals as I can.
Around here, there used to be so many places (old country stores for instance) where people would gather & play BG a couple of times a week.
Sadly, many of them have closed over the last several years.

Bluegrass is my favorite music genre, and I am so glad that people are continuing to play it.

Thanks again for sharing your music, and a special SHOUTOUT to you & your family for keeping BG going.
Best wishes to you and your family.

-Ron
