Think I'm going to take a break from HT
 

At least until after the elections and probably till after Christmas. I find myself getting too frustrated and as Christmas gets closer I get busy with church functions. So, if I don't post before Christmas, I hope all of you do well through the holidays and that the elections don't cause the problems I'm afraid they will.

Oh, before I go, for those that have been following my medical problems, I believe the Metanx is working. Too soon to know for sure, but I have noticed the past few days I've been able to do more around the house, so thanks for all that have been praying.

I'll miss you!

You know, the easiest solution is to just avoid GC/Politics. ;)

Maybe you would reconsider your decision if you think about the above quotation. There may be days you feel strongh enough to engage in the battle while others come along side you and give you support.

Conversely, there might be times you're feeling weak while others take up the sword, but your encouragement, even from the sidelines will give a brother or sister that little boost they need.

These are treacherous days and the enemy wants nothing more than to silence us. I can not remember a time in my (long) life when so many are suffering. It's meant as a distraction and tool of discouragement. But the lost need us to be strong right now. Even if they don't understand, we need to stand in the gap just a little longer because we love them.

Go rest a while, but don't stay away too long.

Take care of yourself,we will miss you. I'm very glad to hear that your new meds are working for you. I gave my Mom the info. about it so she could ask her Dr. about it.

LOL I know, but it's like a drug to me, very addictive. But it's really not just GC, it's the fact that when you work in Children's ministries the holidays can get pretty hectic. Add to that the fact that I have my own forum I have really been neglecting because I get so caught up in the GC debates.

I'll miss all of you and will keep all of you in my prayers. :)

Don't get me wrong, I won't be idle. My ministry is to children and I'm a children's pastor. I've got a harvest festival I'm preparing for, then it'll be time to get things ready for a Christmas program. I stay busy. Plus, I have my own forum that I have been neglecting because of getting caught up in the debates. I still pray for everyone here. This is part of my online family. :) And I hope that all will remember me in your prayers, especially during the Christmas season, which is hard on me emotionally.

Been thinking sooostrongly 'bout you, esp the meds! So glad they could be working! And you're a better 'man' than I am, I SHOULD take a break too b/4 I drive myself nuts! I sometimes DREAM about HT!!! Not sure what it is, guess b/c I was persuaded to change by HT folks I think I too could make a dif...:) You taking a break may be what I need to break MY addiction...
