Ok, after much deliberation, I've decided to cancel monday and stay home from work today with my feet propped up and my laptop and some crocheting to do. I may sit in the kitchen and make some bread (needs to be done or my carb loving self will starve to death LOL!) but I will find some way to not be standing to do it. I already instructed DH on how to pick the cucumbers and peppers today and what things to water, me thinks he will also get a baking lesson today.

Hurting your ankle or any part of your foot REALLY needs to be seen by a Dr. The first time I broke a bone in my foot I didn't go to a Dr. I regret it now, I've had trouble ever since. I've broken so many bones in my feet and my leg 2" above my ankle. I broke the leg when I was pregnant with my third child. I was 3 months and didn't get the cast of until 2 weeks before she was born. Exactly 1 year I RE-BROKE the same spot. The nurse at the emergency argued you couldn't re brake the same area because of calcium build up. But she was wrong, the x-ray showed the calcium cracked.

It sounds like you may have brittle bones. Do you take calcium, if so you need to make sure it's calcium with D. If not the calcium won't be absorbed.

Do you have any comfrey? If so, make a comfrey poultice and put on your ankle. It really helps reduce the pain and swelling and helps it heal faster.

ETA, I sound like a commercial. LOL

lol well, I'm doin' ok so long as the pills don't wear off. the one already previously hurt, even hurts to the touch! But the worst part of all this is sitting for so dang long. It's killing me, UGh. I get up once in a while but mostly sitting with legs propped. Driving me bonkers, not used to not doing something.

So if I get a might grumpy, y'all will know why. LOL. I guess I'm pretty bummed I've ruined my summer.

I'm so sorry that happened! It is frustrating when you want to get things done and can't. On top of hurting! Big hugs and wishes for speedy healing to you!
