My faith is strong. The object of my faith is Christ. I've traditionally attended Baptist churches, but I don't claim any particular denomination.

I'm Anglican so had to vote "other". Neither Roman Catholic nor Protestant. Wish folks didn't keep leaving us out in the cold as the Anglican Communion is worldwide.
You also left out Orthodox -- also a large percentage of Christians worldwide.
Hmm -- I just realised you included Jewish, but not Muslim.

Catholic here. BTW for those didn't get mentioned on the poll, the forum software only allows for 10, so the OP hit the maximum allowable number.

Why are Christians clicking other rather than Protestant/non-denominational Christian? Just curious!
And Catholic is listed twice!

I put other cause I am Methodist? Is that Protestant? LOL- sorry - the terms confuse me- I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins- how's that? and go to a Methodist Church where I feel the people in that church accept me and my faults!

-Maybe the "/nondenominational" part of the choice is throwing them off? Looking for their own denomination on the list and not seeing it so they click on "other."

I guess I am a non-denominational protestant. I've kind of come to the point of being very reluctant to call myself a christian. It seems the vast, vast majority of Christians worship God with lip service and swear (to themselves I think) that they follow Christ. I would like to say I follow Jesus, but that sure is a high mark. I've only met one or two who actually do. But, my faith in God is very strong. I try to follow Jesus. I love people too. It is a mournful thing. They can be so ugly. It is surely a testament to God that he loves us so much. A hateful bunch we are, blind, hardhearted and calloused to our neighbors need. Quick to anger and slow to show compassion. I am a child of God.

Perhaps one of them was meant to be "Lutheran"?

I always thought a Protestant is anyone who is not a Catholic Christian. So if you are Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Church of Christ, etc... you are Protestant. I attend a Christian Church, so I am Protestant. Looks like many of the others are actually Protestant Christians???

The continual division of religion in general and the Body of Christ, specifically, might be one indication that humans do not understand what it means to be the children of one God.

I think God is big enough to handle peoples little divisions. I think most Christians agree on the basics, the rest is more lifestyle and comfort level. God created us to be diverse, we aren't cut-out cookies~

I always have a problem with the whole truth is subjective thing. I mean, it's such an objective statement. Oh, the miserable man that I am.

I'd say that the Catholics are secretly Protestant, since the Donatists held a closer tie to the original church in most ways.
I'll just say that I value the spirituality that lies at the core of many faiths much more than any dogma, ritual, or other aspects that can be exclusionary. Too much emphasis is placed on which ball team is being rooted for while ignoring the intent of the game.
