It was in the high 50s on Wed into Thursday morning. Had rain to begin with but cold front moved in Thursday late morning and dropped temps to near freezing and rain turned to snow with winds up to 35 mph.

It's 1:30 am here and the patio looks to have about an inch but it's a dry snow and the wind is really blowing hard.

There has been zero traffic on the highway here so I know the roads are slick. We have a lot of neighbors that work 2nd and 3rd shifts so no traffic is always a sign of bad road conditions.

We've been in the 60's most of the last several weeks, but today the high won't get out of the 40's. Lows in the 20's and high's in the 40's are pretty normal for January so I shouldn't complain, but I've gotten spoiled!

ETA: South Carolina--where winter comes late and never wears out its welcome.
