Quitting smoking is easy,I've done it a hundred times..staying quit is a different story.Been rolling my own for years, but the tobacco I like is no longer available. Guess I'll have to find somebody growing tobacco.

I love Pipe Smoke, especially a mild Aromatic tobacco. I smoked a pipe for many years.
But, it is not like smoking cigarettes. It is a thing you do, after lunch or after dinner. Or maybe it's a nice pipe, of tobacco, and a drink, before you go to bed.
To me, it is just a quiet, laid-back way of having a Smoke, a few times a day.
Cigars, once in a while, were sorta the same way, for me.
But, I could always smoke, or not smoke. I was very mildly addicted. I quit once for 15 years. Then smoked for a couple years and Quit again........

About a dozen or so years ago, I had my first Asthma attack. I had a hard time breathing, for several days. The old Pulmonary Doctor told me I had the beginnings of Emphysema. And, if I did not quit smoking, I was going to die, a lot quicker.
So, I quit..........Forever!
Still miss it a little bit. But I want to live a long Life.

I just want to give a huge high five to anyone who has cut back or quit.

One of my Grandmothers died from emphysema, the other died of lung cancer. I miss them.

To those who have not tried to quit...please think about who will be missing you.
