We used to watch Survivor but all the nudity got old - yuck. Put. some. clothes. on. It was one of the reasons we gave up tv for good in 2008. Perhaps more recent seasons have featured less skin and more clothing??

I'd like to see Phillip win, but only if it turns out that he's scamming them all with a nut act. I can't stand Rob, but I never like the people in Survivor who play the role he's playing ("I'm running everything, everyone does what I tell them to")----just a personality thing. Matt, eh, he's not a gamer. I don't even know why he's on there. Frankly, no one on Rob's side has too much going for them. I wish some of the other team had made it. I guess there's still one guy in Redemption Island (can't think of his name, Mike, maybe?) that I'd like to see win. I liked the woman who was a fire fighter but she went home last week.

Will be fun seeing the end, anyway. Hope they a better bunch back next season and PLEASE! no more "stars of past seasons".

Have to go get the calves fed so I can be back in in time to watch!

Jennifer

So... what did you all think?

I think that, out of those three, that they made the right choice.

Philip would have won it EASILY if he could have come out in the final council and said, "I played you all into thinking I was the crazy guy, but that was my game plan from the beginning."

Turns out... he's just nuts.

Well since Rob won, maybe he won't be back anymore?? I can only hope. He can be all humble and charming when it suits him, but his real self can be seen in the season's worth of clips and what he said about the others while he was pulling their puppet strings. And those dumb young women, they could have gotten together and OWNED the game but it never occurred to them until it was too late. Way to live up to your stereotype, you pretty little things. And then to give the 100k to Rob, too, and not Matt. Bleh, what is wrong with people????

But I do like the element of Redemption Island, it gives a whole new part of the strategy to consider. Hope they keep it. And I'll watch again even if this season was a disappointment.

I'm like the others, keep the ghosts of survivor past in the past(or at least bring back the ones that I like). If they bring Russell back again I'll find something else to do. Rob did say this was his last time, thankfully. Four times is more than enough.

we also kept thinking Phillip would be the big surprise. goodness, but you are so right seedspreader. he got second of $100,000., thanks to Ralph's vote. I'm happy Rob won. sorta wasn't fair since he had so much more experience, tho.

Right down to the live event at the last hour I really thought Philip was going to win but I am glad Rob won. Philip really is loony!

I thought the atmosphere at the live show was very different than normal. Everyone seemed very subdued and not inclined to be very forgiving. Usually they all seem like friends at the end and have an "Oh well, it's just a game" attitude. I did not sense that this time.

Rob did play everyone very well. But several other people could have been sitting in the winner's seat if they had made some moves earlier in the game!

Jeff did say that there would be two old players coming back again next season...

I hope Russel the Troll isn't one of those return players.
I'm also getting tired of the men running around in their unders and the women trying to show the whole world that which only the mirror should see (even the women that claim to be christian show off too much skin).
I truly wish the show would do a season in the mountains, with a COLD mountain stream, chilly foggy mornings...and snow on the ground!
NOW THAT WOULD BE SURVIVOR!!!!!...~lol~...

oh no..not two old players again! please..not Russell. he makes my head hurt! HA! I have also wished they played in an area that wasn't tropical. THEN we'd see who could truly survive.

Never missed a season here. We were rooting for Matt to come back and win it all. I am hoping one of the returning players is Rupert!

Rupert & Russell against each other? I was hoping Russell would keep his word and never be on Survivor again!

Ah, but now Rob has outdone Russell and won. Did you really think Russell is going to just let that go? Of course he's going to try to come back and try again.
The sad part is Russell just doesn't get it, that nobody is going to vote for a troll. He blames everyone else for his loosing when he does it to himself.
I'm thinking he's not smart enough to change his approach.

I thought Rob deserved to win. It does say Out last, out wit & out play & Rob did exactly that.
I do think the $100 thousand should have gone to someone else. I was hoping Matt won that.

I can hardly wait for the new season in September.
