Everything we have is for the yard and garden and cutting wood and is about as old as us. We'd like new equipment, but don't have a big enough shop building to put it in. If we could get a bigger shop built, then we might consider getting some newer equipment. But at our age, I don't look for that to happen. We get by and that's enough. The most used piece of equipment is the Sears lawn tractor and wagon.

We have an 8N tractor that is great, it has a snow plow (if we could find it buried UNDER all the snow!! LOL) a very used bush hog, and a pair of lifters. We need a new bush hog dreadfully. Also need a lawn mower, ours has a big time transmission problem. With the dogs we have about 3 acres to mow in their running yard, but it goes up and downhill and without a good tranmission you get stuck easily.
Also would love a large chipper, one that would handle at least a 3 inch limb. Also need a tree trimmer chainsaw, badly!!! In fact I will probably ask for one for Valentines day!!!

tires---OMG tractor tires will bust ya!

Does everyone house their tractors and more? Most of our equip is in barns etc. Very little left out in the weather. I like things high and dry.....we just built a 100 X 60 open shed. Just for the extra tractors we have now. (having stuff sure costs money..lol)
