Losing control of your bowels is an EMERGENCY situation with back pain. Go to the ER, tell them whats happeneing and they should give you an emergency MRI and call in a neuro for a consult. I know because it happened to me. Its very unnerving to have it happen. The nerves roots in your spine are being impinged by the herniation to the point of damage now. Very soon, if not already your nerves can be damaged permenantly and you will have effects from it for the rest of your life. You need an MRI, Neuro consult, and a nerve conduction test to find out the extent of the damage.
First off, stop doing everything. Do not lift anything over two pounds, do not bend, do not twist at the waist, be very careful getting into and out of vehicles, especially taller trucks you have to step up into. I would not be doing any PT exercises or painful stretches until you are looked at as you can make the injury worse. I was a 29 year old man, was a Chief Warrant Officer two who flew helicopters in the Army with 8 years in when this happened to me. Its not anything to be ashamed of. At several points I was rolling on the floor screaming and bauling begging my wife to knock me out or kill me to get it to stop. When you have numbness and loss of feeling in your foot and lose your bowels, its time to stop being patient with the Dr's. You are now dealing with how impaired you want to be the rest of your life. Take it seriously, you are in a very dangerous situation right now. If no one will take you an ER, call someone else or a cab or whatever you have to do. If I was close to you, Id come pick you up. Call your Doctor and tell them about losing your bowels and the feeling in your foot. Please get yourself taken care of.
