I hand pollinated my lemon tree with a q-tip----unfortunatly, I had to give the tree away after I got Brandi The Destroyer. No plants inside anymore :(

She needs to be able to fit all those dogs and cats in there!

It looks great Nickie, you can tell you've put a lot of hard work into it.

LOL...yeah, the house doesn't seem big enough for all the cats and dogs in it. Then, I start cleaning and it seems way to big!

I'm always terrible at remembering to take before pics but here are some projects where I did remember.

WOW!! you all are doing great!!
Nickie, Its amazing to see your garden...its so full and GREEN!!! We had frost last night, so cole crops only in the ground for us. Its getting messy in house, with seedlings and gardens plants taking over the house. we traditionally wait until memorial day to plant the tomatoes and such, but it might be another week with these cold snaps coming in

NickieL 05/19/09 07:17 PM

I wish I could do so much more for my garden but it's slow and steady. Once in a while I can throw a couple bucks to a new plant but most things I've collected have been either free or nearly free.

salmonslayer 05/20/09 12:48 AM

NickieL, you have done so much with a modest yard and it looks great. I will bet you have inspired people in your neighborhood to garden more. I have a small yard right now too and I think it actually gives my wife and I more opportunity to focus on what we do have so we are more successful with our modest efforts..does that make sense?
