She's beautiful, congrats! It's so sweet to see your son signing. My kids sign too. We are a hearing household, but I found that teaching them to sign really helped them communicate before they were able to talk, and avoided a lot of frustration trying to figure out what they were saying!

Thank you for sharing!

It's funny. My son has my short stubby fingers and also my hobbit feet while Annalise has her mom's long and graceful fingers and looong toes! Annalise looks more like me while Walker looks more like my wife but has my eye color and my long eyelashes. Round face shape is from the Nordyke side of the family..I believe maybe some Dutch? Seems one side of my wife's family is orginially from West Virginia and there are some relatives still living there apparently with outhouses and some perhaps with dirt floors! What happened was that one family member owned a lumber mill with a business partner and some kind of dispute occured (think he wanted to sell the business and the other partner didn't want to buy him out or sell it) and then the family member burned down the lumber mill. Fled the state with his family and a loyal family servant. End result was that he was chased for a while by the enraged business partner who gave up. His family moved to various places and ended up mostly in Kansas with some family members settling in Colorado and Montana. My wife's mother has kept in distant contact with the West Virginia relatives. We plan to go back and visit the state some day! Her great great great whomever grandfather was a stonemason who helped build the West Virginia school for the deaf and the buildings are still up and in use today so that's interesting to us! My wife is really into family genealogy.

Congrats to your family and your little clone! Luckily the eyebrows aren't a hereditary factor

What a beautiful family you have...and yes, she looks just like you! My son was born 6 weeks early...with his eyes open and able to raise his head. He is very bright and very, very cautious and analytical. I can remember him as an infant, sitting in the baby swing, with his head turned up while he watched the gears. He was born early because I had preeclampsia, but at birth they discovered a knot in his umbilical cord...I've always wondered if he was in there trying to take it apart to see how it worked

What cute kids! Your son is adorable and that baby girl...oh my how sweet! Look at all that hair! And yes, she looks like her Daddy. I'm so glad your wife and daughter are doing well...how scary that must have been! Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos.

My daughter is not deaf, but learned sign language in high school. She is now teaching her 17 month old son how to sign.
