We use the word fall. We only get to use it once as fall is a short season up here.

I clicked both but I don't think I've heard anyone in Michigan use "autumn", it's always "fall".
I got in the habit of using "autumn" when I lived out of state and really like the word so I chose to continue doing so

It's the only way I can remember how the time change goes, Spring forward, Fall back. I'm already practicing cause time change is this weekend.

hmm, guess I could say Spring forward and Autumn leave the time the way it is.

I say "autumn" most of the time but I think most people around here say "fall".

LOL Spring forward, fall back. My mom taught me that. I think this Sunday we "spring" forward, I just wish the weather would also.

I was taught (and use) that Autumn is when the trees start to turn...no longer growing season...basically harvest time. Fall is when the leaves actually fall...Late October/November.
