The last one I attended was my 40th. It was a blast!!!!.....and that was just like all the rest were. Now they're having them every 5 years. It takes about a week of nights to decorate the float for the homecoming parade. All those nights were really good in that they gave us the opportunity to reconnect while putting together our float. Then the homecoming parade on Friday and we boogy down and throw beads and candy to the crowd. A get together for drinks after that, then a picnic on saturday afternoon, and finally saturday night, a band playing that old time rock and roll and it was just outta sight. My graduating class was only 68 folks. Only two have passed on, and we have always had about 90% attendance from all over the USA. Of course I live way down here in the Heart of Nowhere which is the fun capital of Alabama.

I've really enjoyed the past reunions that I've attended.

I would like to go to #45 this year but at $40.00 per person (times 2), plus motel expense and gas for the 350 mile round trip, I guess I'll be staying home.
