We make our own so the toppings vary from time to time.

Lately we're eating red & green sweet peppers, onions, black olives, and ham. The Kinder Major wants just black olives on her part.

Sometimes I live ham and pineapple.

Home Made! Make the pizza dough with onion and garlic..
Me: very thin with red onions, red peppers, mushrooms, fresh herbs(huge basil leaves, oregano and thyme) and loads of chard or spinach.. very little cheese. DH calls mine salad on a cracker
DH: very thick with Alfredo sauce and ricotta, brocoli piled high, mushrooms and green peppers and lots of cheese..yuck.

We just find the store bought or pizza parlor pizza to be to salty, greasy, gross; so it is out of my kitchen all the way!

DH loves meat on his. If I could somehow just stuff a cow on top of the dough into the oven, he'd be in heaven. Me... recently it's been slow roasted tomatoes, garlic pesto, and extra cheese, with a nice thin crust. But I think it might come out with hoof marks on it if I try and bake both pizzas at the same time.

I like my pizza the way they make it in Italy. Individual-sized, extremely thin crust baked on a wood-burning hearth with whatever is in season at the moment. Real italian pizza is one thing I miss most about living in Europe.

My most recent authentic was with spring peas and prosciutto. Man, that was to die for!

I'll be the rebel... NO cheese! (I'm allergic) medium crust with lots of pizza sauce, pepperoni, onions, bell peppers, Jalepenos, and then whatever else I have on hand, (burger meat, ham, mushrooms, sliced meatballs, black olives, cherry peppers...??)

DH likes lots of cheese and meat and all the rest.

I like mine from the Northeast. I love the west, midwest and south but they just can't make pizza like they do in the Northeast (New York, Philly, Boston and surrounding areas). I miss real pizza!

Oh yeah... also Sicialian style. There was this place in my grandparent's town called The Victory Pig that had the BEST sicialian pizza.

Lord, I'm hungry.

Have any of you ever tryed sour kraut on your pizza before? Sounds disgusting, but I urge you to try it.
I'm a sauerkraut pizza person.
About 1/2 cup of drained kraut spread over a hamburger, onion pizza. Mmmmm
Gives it just the right twang.
My sister worked in a pizza joint in Fairbanks Alaska several years ago, this was one of their big sellers.

Also love BBQ beef or pork pizza. No pizza sauce, just the BBQ'd beef or pork shredded with sauce and lots of mozzarella shredded on top.

Medium-thin crust with tomato sauce, roasted eggplant, lots of garlic, fontina and parmesan cheeses. DH likes a bit of bacon or sausage, too.

Thin or thick crust, pizza sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, canadian bacon and pineapple. Yum! DD just likes cheese, "plain ol' boring cheese pizza" - she hates it when I call it that. lol! Homemade pizza gets whatever we have on hand, from plain cheese, to sausage, ham, bacon, olives, pineapple, etc.

yeh you aint kiddin...I miss decent pizza and especially my cheesesteaks although I have gotten pretty good at duplicating the ones from back home in PA. I used to go in one local pizza joint back home and these guys were just about fresh off the boat from italy....they always greeted me with a "aayyyyy boooddy ow u doin eh?" in a thick italian accent, i dont know what was in the sauce , could have been some of the coke they were busted for dealin but i dont care it was the best i friggin pizza ever had

aside from that I made a chicken pesto pizza and a BBQ chicken pizza from scratch the other day. it was gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
but time consuming
