My mom passed away from cancer a 1 1/2 ago. My poor dad had to wipe thier savings clean to pay for the funeral. And now my three older brothers and I are chipping in to pay for her headstone.

I wonder if this woman has siblings. Maybe she grew up pampered. She says her oldest is disabled. I can sympthaize with her. But she is asking for people to bid $99 on a box. She doens't even show a box. And her BIN keeps changing.

give this lady a little credit, she could as easily be running one of 1000 ebay scams and really raking in the cash.
People should give her "credit" for being a begger and a leech instead of a con artist?

Ohhh, okay.............

If he's disabled enough not to work he could apply for SS.

I had to laugh when I saw that you have a kid who sleeps in a closet because I do, too!

My house has three bedrooms. Two small ones and a large, master-size one with a large walk-in closet. I have three kids and, since two of them would have to share a room, I gave them the largest one.

Instead of sharing the room, my youngest (11) put his bed and a bookcase in the closet! I guess both the boys feel it gives them each a little privacy, but the looks I get when Alex tells people he sleeps in a closet aren't always appreciative of the situation!

Lot of 13 BRAND NEW USB cables still in the packages. Who has that many?

Made me spit. Bahhh humbug! Come around and feel sorry for me.

Many people cannot afford a Christmas tree. One year my daughter and I traced our handprints on green construction paper that was a free gift to us. We cut out our handprints and taped them on the wall in the shape of a Christmas tree. In order to have ornaments light enough to tape onto the wall, I painted egg cartons cut into single egg units to resemble the three wise men. I forget what else I taped to the wall for ornaments. The following year we were given an ugly white fake tree. I prefered the construction paper tree.

Whenever I'd feel sorry for myself, I'd think about Russian families, eight or more people living in a single room.

It's really not good for your children to dwell on how poor the family is. It's really better to count your blessings.

I hope she makes a lot of money.

Was that a keyboard I saw in one of the pictures? What is that red sleeve in a couple of the pictures?

She could have sold that pie for thousands had she just insisted you could see Jesus in the filling.

I'm still waiting for the day that I can have that good of furniture and I've been married for 26 years!
And that pie.....It looks like a store bought pie besides! I'd at least want it made from scratch! LOL

Her house is in way better shape than ours LOL!

If she's a scam artist then I hope she learns a lesson. If she's really having those problems I feel bad for her.

Don't you think this is just so sad.
I mean I have been following it just to see what happens. And she has been revising the listing. The shipping and handling has changed and the buy it now also has changed several times. She's even posted pics of her kids when they were babies.

Maybe she is a scam artist. I don't know. But she's starting to sound so desperate that its sad.

Well, her mother was cremated a few months ago...she wants a headstone and a grave blanket for her mother.

Well.

I have a step-grandson. His mother was killed in a car accident about 5 years ago and HE has been saving every penny he can earn so his mother will have a headstone...his mother's parents & husband won't put one up..but HE, the youngest of the children will be buying his mother a stone. He doesn't want just ANY stone...he can get a cheap one for $250...but he wants one that's really NICE. He is 16 now.

So sorry, I don't have ANY respect for an adult who uses their parent's death to raise money. And, I'm wondering just what size tombstone and grave blanket you get for cremated remains...a 3x5 inch marker?...maybe a 10x12 inch grave blanket?

Your grandson sounds like a wonderful kid.
My mom passed away a year and a half ago, and we've been trying to get her a gravestone as well. But with all of us having families to support, its hard. I know my mother would have told us to save our money instead of spending it.She always put us first.

But your right frogmammy. She really is going about it the wrong way. I just think its so sad, that she is somewhat degraded herself. You know, to the point of begging on the internet.

Smile I sent her this question...seems reasonable to me...

Why not make your house payment and go get some free toys?

http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&lr=...local&ct=title
(End of my Question to her)

Detroit has 3 locations of "Toys For Tots" Free toys for poor kids.

I also noticed a "Dancing Santa" hand in a couple of the pictures...now THAT's what she should be selling...it might bring $100 I dunno...

Go back and look at the pics...you'll see santa's hand in a couple of them.

BTW, CN...just because we WWJD's may not bid on a very weird ebay ad, that doesn't mean we're hypocrites.

I just delivered a truckload of groceries to a needy local family for Christmas...What are you doing?...Oh that's right...Nothing...OK
