A Toast to Sourdough

I didn't like your methodology, but your timing was impeccable. Here's to ya, good buddy. You had the sight.

cindilu 12/11/12 06:20 PM

Where did Sour go?

Raven12 12/11/12 06:22 PM

Cheers to Sourdough! I hope he comes back under a different screen name.

cindilu 12/11/12 06:25 PM

Huh, what did I miss here?

nehimama 12/11/12 06:33 PM

I miss him!

cindilu 12/11/12 06:46 PM

What happened to him?

He left and he's having withdrawals.

I was kinda hoping it would be a toast with some of your fine looking bread :D

Unregistered-1427815803 12/11/12 07:18 PM

Well, that is a fine homemade wine. I can tell by the clarity it's at least 90 days old.
But....... my youngest was by today, I made her a pizza cornbread. Freshest pic of bread I got, sorry. And that's nearly 2 hours old now.

Tell him a lot of us miss him. He was unique. Seems some people didn't appreciate that.

FarmboyBill 12/11/12 09:00 PM

Has his dough permanently soured?

Shrek 12/11/12 10:30 PM

He chose to dramatically exit the group and burn his bridge behind him by asking site admin to ban him. Some choose exits as he did. Others just stop visiting the site,

katydidagain 12/11/12 10:35 PM

Yeah, he left like James Brown....

Tommyice 12/11/12 10:43 PM

Well he showed on ST with a storm of thought provoking posts and he left as dramatically.

Zong are you saying that he suspected ST was dying a slow and painful death and left before the rattle? If so that's a true shame.

Raven12 12/11/12 10:49 PM

He was right. I changed my mind. I hope he doesn't come back.

Shrek 12/11/12 10:51 PM

Sourdough's exit will make as lasting of an impression as the hole one leaves in a bucket of water after sinking their fist into it and then removing it.

There will be a few ripples on the surface for a short time and other participants will arrive and offer their own unique perspectives to hold interest on various threads.

Raven12 12/11/12 10:52 PM

This time is different. The vibe has changed. Too many people have left.

vicker 12/11/12 11:09 PM

I'm in agreement with Shrek on this one.

Shrek is right.

You've only been participating on this board since March 2011. You ain't seen nothin' yet as regards vibes changing multiple times and multiple people leaving and arriving. :hysterical:

Give it a few more years and you'll go ho hum too ..... if you're still here. :hysterical:

That sure looks yummy. I've never heard of pizza cornbread. Care to share a recipe, or at least a list of ingredients?

And you'll think, why the drama when all they would have to say is, "I'm taking a siesta from here for a while in case anyone wonders what happened to me".

Raven12 12/12/12 01:12 AM

Because it is nice that he said goodbye. Most just leave.

Raven12 12/12/12 01:20 AM

There is the other option...my choice. Make everyone as miserable as possible. I even got a few good ones on Laura tonight.

frogmammy 12/12/12 11:10 AM

Maybe he was TRYING to feel like people would miss him...kinda like the kid that wants attention so robs banks to get it. :)

Mon

starjj 12/12/12 12:03 PM

Yep FM got this one right. Some go out with all the drama and some just exit stage left.

Did you scuttle me ship and make off with me sandwich eating wenches? Ya hissing spitting scallywag. Pretending not to have an eye for them then dragnetting away all the booty. For shame lol.
