Roper riding mower question

Last fall at the dump there was a Roper riding mower and deck. It has a 16 hp Briggs and Stratton cast iron engine. They wanted $5 for it so we loaded it up. I tarped it over the winter and today took a look at it. I changed the oil and cleaned the filter and changed the gas. Then I tried to fire it and of course it started right up. It chugged a bit and I replaced the inline fuel filter and now it runs smooth.

I slid the deck under it and saw where two arms hold the back of the deck with clevis pins but I can't see what holds up the front of the deck. I've never had a riding mower and don't know if I am missing some linkages or I'm just not seeing the hookup. Anybody got a clue?

Move the arm that raises and lowers the deck. There should be a linkage underneath the tractor that moves when this arm is moved. That linkage attaches to the mower deck.

Using the link billyj provided, I was able to track down a schematic last night. I saw I was missing a bracket and a couple of pins to hold up the front end, so I made them and I've cut over an acre of pasture so far this morning. Not a bad deal for a $7 total investment. Thanks.
