1984 Chevy Motor Home

I have not used this Motor Home on the road in several years---keep cranking it up and let it run for a while. I decided to drive it around the farm some time back(no insurance/tags). I started heading down the drive and it started straining---I let off the gas and it stopped instantly. One of the front tires was dragging. I ended up pulling the tire off and the brake caliber would not release with a huge Clamp on it until I loosen the bleeder----then it went right in---My first thought was it was froze up---so I backed the clamp off some and went and mashed the brakes then come back and tried to compress it again-----no way---till I loosen the bleeder again.

What have I got on there that would "block" and not allow the brake fluid to go but one way?? Thanks

................If I remember correctly , the inside pad does not move........the outside pad is probably rusted and when compressed does not retract ! You need to pull the wheel and lubricate and inspect Both front brake mechanisms as well as the rear drum brakes . They make a special lubricant for disc brakes . , fordy

Brake lines, replace the flex line going to your calipers. The line has deteriorated inside and won't let the pressure off. Seems to be a some what common problem with them in that time range.
