Best/cheapest place to buy consumable tools?

Ok where's the best/cheapest place to buy things like saw blades, drill bits, driver bits and the rest? I don't need to buy dozens at a time but I'd think I could buy several for what I have to pay at local stores for a couple.

Edit to add: You can add welding wire and tips for wire welders to the list.

I think Harbor Freight is hard to beat. Though I'm sure others will have other places.

I pick up some tools at Costco... I've bought some big Recip saw assortments there, along with some larger drill bit assortments, Craftsman screwdrivers and such...

For other stuff, I've been finding Kobalt from Lowe's isn't too bad, and the prices aren't either... I was blasting through Bosch and DeWalt Torx bits for deck screws... They would break or round off in less than 100 screws... The Kobalt bits have lasted for thousands of screws..

For welding supplies, I shop my local welding and gas supplier... Some things I try to keep local to small shops..

2nd using HF, but eBay might not be a bad spot to check either.

Could be junk, but may be very good usable quality, too.

Nearly everything is made in China now, which has some of the most advanced factories in the world.

If you have Menards, and don't mind doing their rebate deals, which are easy as pie, there are some killer deals from time to time on consumable tools.

I do a lot at Menards when they have rebates.
Some stuff at HF I leave alone. Have had their 4 1/2" cut off wheels fall apart. But since I have one of their welders I get the tips there. I use Hobart wire though, seems to feed better.
I do not cheap out on sawall blades. Either Milwaukee or Lenox, have had the cheap ones loose all their teeth to easily.
Drill bits are another thing I am trying to switch over to non cheapies. Have picked up a lot of Lawson bits over the years and I really like them. but the prices.....
Tried a few different brands of driver bits, most I have seem to be Irwin from Menards.

If you can wait the time to ship, great deals can always be found on eBay. Just make sure you're doing business with a Top Rated or Top Rated Plus seller in the United States, and your chances of running into a bad seller are slim to none.

Surprisingly, Amazon has aquite a bit of tools now. You have to look, but sometimes they have great prices on a bundle of blades, grinding wheels, etc.

I also check out the clearance at Tractor Supply when I am by there, they can have some good deals. [Too many at time Ulp...]

I second the Harbor Freight comment. eBay, Craig's List, local donation stores, pawn shops, garage sales, auctions, etc. have all paid off for me.
