My truck stinks of grease since I got it from the mechanic

Long story short, an old friend's boyfriend fancies himself a mechanic. He's out of work and I had some work I needed done that was beyond my physical ability to do. He tried the work and returned the truck to me filthy inside and stinking of grease. I can't even drive it to work, I stink when I get there (embarrassing!) and it is making me sick. He has no idea how this could have happened.

I have one of those odor absorber canisters that I'll put in there and if it doesn't rain I'll leave the doors open tomorrow, but I'm afraid that's not going to cut it. How can I clean the scent out without having grease stains to clean up?

409 does wonders.

Wipe the streaks with a paper towel and spray a little extra on the rugs.

Why are you cleaning up HIS mistake? I wouldn't have paid him until the stank was gone.

I didn't know about the stink until we had the truck back, my spouse drove it home when we picked it up and he didn't notice it, or it didn't bother him. Overall, I'm not real pleased with the mechanic.

I drenched everything in Mr Clean multi surface, it's like 409 but I had it here at hand. I also put my deordorizer in there and it's a lot better. Maybe gone. I'm kind of wondering if he's just that dirty?

I think we got it! Drove it to get some groceries tonight and all we could smell was the air freshener / deodorizer I put in there.
