Figuring angle of incline

I have no idea if this is the right place to post this question, but I figured shop type people are probably good at calculating stuff. I'm math challenged and need to figure the angle of incline for my treadmill. It is 48" long and flat. If I place a 2" board (true size) on the front, what angle of incline would I get? I'm aiming for between 6 - 10 degrees.

Using the calculator at http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calcul...e-theorems.php (in ASA mode)

I find for 6° you'll need a rise of 5", and for 10° it will be a rise of 8.5".

Geeky stuff for 10°:
Sides:
a = 8.4637 in
c = 48 in

Angles:
A = 10°
B = 90°

Thanks for the answers. I really appreciate your doing the math for me. I'll have to work on a way to raise the front a bit more. I'm doing it gradually, so starting at 2" is a good start.
