The gloves are supposed to fit a 8 - 9 inch glove port. This is what a real glove port looks like:
Just cut your hole, screw it together and attach your gloves. How simple would that be?
We have a local guy that does work for the city. Maybe he could come up with something suitable to fit. I searched for " pvc flange", " plastic flange", " pvc collar", " plastic collar" and many variations thereof. Finding an 8 inch one is harder than it first seems. I guess I could get away with a smaller opening, I'd just have to go further up the sleeve of the glove to secure it ( and lose some length of total reach in the process).
I'm almost convinced there has to be something else out there already fabricated that would work.... haha Just as I was writing that, I thought, how about cutting off the top of one of DW's plastic flour storage containers and cutting a hole through the lid. I'm going to be in sooo much trouble if I can find the right size.
