Purchasing Truck Cover , Wise use of Scarce Funds?

..............Currently I'm making payments on a 2003 Chevy 3500 dually too pull my 5'ver . This truck sat inside a barn when not in use , consequently the paint job looks very good ! Now , it sits outside 24\7 and I'm afraid the paint will be degraded by the UV Unless I purchase a Truck Cover too keep it covered . I want too maintain it's 'LOOKS' for resale should that become necessary so I'm considering spending up too $300 or thereabouts for a Full Truck Cover . I will charge and then pay the CC after it arrives .
...............There many other uses(needs) for this money but I'm having a hard time making up my mind on this purchase . , thanks , fordy

Get a good polish with UV blockers, use it on the plastic lamp covers too, makes all the difference.Use the prep, then the polish in the can,My Jetta looks new,its a 2001,and the plastic headlight lenses are crystal clear, all due to UV protection,I started out with prep,3 coats polish to follow in a row, same day, then a couple years every 6 months, now on a year or 2 schedule. This stuff is worth every dime

Finish First Polish
FINISH FIRST uses a synthetic emulsifier cleaning agent to dissolve tar, road film, dirt and organic contaminants which cling to the paint even after washing. With this dissolving cleaning action, you will not create those "swirl marks" in your paint finish usually caused by organic wax cleaners. Not only will FINISH FIRST not create swirl marks, the cleaning emulsifiers will dissolve the contaminants embedded in old swirl marks and make them disappear. FINISH FIRST is unique to organic waxes because of its synthetic formula.

FINISH FIRST actually works better if you let it dry on your vehicle before removal for a minimum of 15 minutes to 2 hours. FINISH FIRST POLISH/FINISH is durable, weather resistant and able to build layers in order to enrich the depth of gloss. A regular wax coating, which is not durable, lacks the ability to build layers because the solvent grit of the second coat destroys the first coat. With FINISH FIRST the more coats you apply, the deeper the gloss and the greater the protection.

19.99/quart
