Thumbs up Advance Auto Parts; for us shade tree mechanics

Been getting a bunch of parts and supplies recently, and thought I'd share the discounts (I gain nothing from this).

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com
June 1-14
Promo code J2030 spend $100 get $20 off, spend $150 get $30 off, plus free shipping to your door anything over $75.

OR (don't know the duration of this promo)

Promo Code ES123 Spend $30, get $ 10 off, $50, get $20 off, $100, get $30 off, and free shipping over $75...I've used both, order arrives in 2-3 days (for my area), top notch. Plus I set up "My Garage" there...enter your vehicles, and when shopping, pick the vehicle you are looking for a part for, and it narrows your searches...Been using this site for 4 years, and have yet to be disappointed.
Hope it helps
Plus, if you are part of upromise, you also get an 8% kick to your account. Until the 15th of June, so if you need sparkplugs or shocks, check it out. I know it sounds too good to be true, but Ive saved over $100 between shipping and the $$$ off on just two orders (of $100.xx and $101.xx)

I get quite a few parts from rockauto.com . If you do a search in Google for discount codes you can save quite a bundle. They also have cheap parts when they have a discontinued item.

I guess ive done put off buying a AAA membership long enough, I know way to many folks who have used one to get decent discounts that more than pay for the annual fee, and 7% dont sound like much, but it all adds up.

Roadking thanks for the heads up on the promo codes. ;-Þ nice when others look out for their fellow wrenches!

I really love the free shipping. One, I don't like being too far from home while the boys are at school), and Two, saves me time and gas.
Enjoy all!

Have used Autozone, Advance, and Oreilly[checker, schrucks, kragen etc]. Just have to price 'em out for the best deal.

I do check Advance when I need parts at nite or on a weekend , or My regular parts house tells Me a oil pump drive for my van is special order .
There regional warehouse W/a store attached , is local with part in stock for ( a melling shaft ), for a couple of $$ more , and there open nites , Sat. and Sun .
I just bought some Mopar parts online for 1/2 of what the local dealers wanted .
( Durango 4.7 top hose $56. vs,. $ 24 )

850, the sport (sorry, cant remember the letters after 850...SEL, maybe???)wagon, the wife's ride, but gotta admit, it is a spunky thing for a wagon...on the test drive, I wasn't paying attention, and was doing close to a hundred...felt like I was idling...great cars.
